Putnam County Hospital Laboratory offers a full range of testing services in our lab, including Blood Banking, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, Molecular Testing, Phlebotomy, Special Chemistry, Therapeutic Phlebotomy (by appointment), and Urinalysis. We also refer specialized testing to an accredited Referral Laboratory.
Putnam County Hospital Laboratory is licensed by the State of Indiana and is accredited by COLA, a worldwide organization that sets standards for laboratory performance. Every two years, COLA confirms the excellence of testing in our laboratory through an in-depth, on-site inspection of the laboratory and the quality of testing being performed.
The laboratory is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient needs.
