Please understand most Insurance Companies have filing Limits so there is an Importance in contacting our Office so that we may assistance in a timely manner, to avoid 100% patient responsibility.

Financial Assistance Program


Part of being your indispensable healthcare partner means offering a patient-friendly Financial Assistance Program. Opportunities for assistance are available to all qualifying patients – regardless of whether you have insurance. The program includes all of our medical departments and facilities, from our ER and inpatient care to our outpatient services.

Please bring the following items along with the Completed Financial Assistance Application with you to your Appointment.


  • A copy of your most recent Federal Tax Form(s) with all schedules
  • A copy of your most recent Three (3) paycheck stubs
  • A copy of your most recent bank statements for each account

Putnam County Hospital is excited to offer online bill pay to its patients. Patients will now log on to our Patient Portal for this service. While on the portal, the patient can pay their bill online or view their patient records.


To sign up for the Patient Portal, please visit the Medical Records Department, located at the Ground Level (basement) of Putnam County Hospital. Face-to-face verification of the person registering for this account is required.


Registration for the Patient Portal also takes place during the registration process at the hospital. The patient is simply asked for their personal email address, and instructions on how to create the account is sent via email.
