Putnam County Hospital Emergency Department received the Innovation in Quality Improvement Award from the Indiana State Office of Rural Health presented by Dr. Box, Indiana Health Commissioner.
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) recognized 10 states for outstanding quality performance of their Critical Access Hospitals in achieving the highest reporting rates and levels of improvement over the past year, based on the Medicare Quality Improvement Project (MBQIP) performance measures. Indiana ranked 9th among Top Performing Rural Critical Access Hospitals! The Indiana State Office of Rural Health aspires to honor the Indiana Critical Access Hospitals for their performance and acknowledge the best of the best! In that regard, the CAH Award program was developed to stimulate quality improvement efforts and acknowledge distinguished members in the Indiana CAH community.
Putnam County Hospital is extremely proud of this achievement and will continue to strive to be the best healthcare option for our community.
Our mission is to provide exceptional healthcare close to home.
