Putnam County Hospital and the Putnam County Hospital Hospitalist Program proudly donated a check to sponsor the December 6 ^th robotics competition held by the Area 30 Robotics program. This is the first tournament hosted by the local robotics program. Various tournaments are held throughout the year, and the December 6 ^th event will serve as the championship event, with more than 40 robots from schools all over Indiana competing. The tournament which involves 10 qualifying matches, choosing alliances and finishing with a single elimination tournament will reward victors trophies and monetary gifts for future robotic parts.
